Poetry should be performed, not read, and nowhere is this clearer than: The Raven. Don't believe me - listen to it performed amazingly here by Omnia.
That performance, and a really good erotic parody of holiday carol by Marjorie Greene, inspired me to try my hand at poetry - or at least to use Edgar Allan Poe's amazing rhythm and rhyming structures in The Raven to make a new, more adult themed poem, called:
